This lecture explored the evolution of visual art from prehistoric cave paintings to contemporary digital and AI-generated imagery. It examined how artistic expression has developed alongside human civilization, reflecting changes in culture, philosophy, technology, and aesthetic thought.

The presentation surveyed major artistic movements across history, from ancient civilizations and classical traditions to modern and contemporary art, highlighting the shifting relationship between creativity, technique, symbolism, and visual communication.

Special attention was given to the impact of digital technologies and artificial intelligence on artistic practice, originality, and authorship, while encouraging critical reflection on the future of art in an increasingly technology-driven world. Baghdad 2026
