Inspired by verses from a poem by Bahaa Al-Din Zuhair, the work explores the visual possibilities of Arabic calligraphy through an organic composition of interwoven letters and branching forms. Created using recycled materials, it brings together language, ornament, and transformation within a single visual structure.

Executed entirely in oil on canvas using palette knife techniques, the work captures the dynamic movement and controlled energy of a golfer at the completion of a swing. Layers of impasto and expressive knife marks create a textured surface that reinforces the sense of motion, while the composition focuses on balance, rhythm, and the precision of a single athletic gesture.

Stolen Innocence was created in response to the tragedy that befell the Yazidi communities of northern Iraq following the ISIS attacks of 2014. At the center of the composition stands a young Yazidi girl whose expression reflects the emotional weight of displacement, captivity, and loss. The backdrop references the Ishtar Gate, linking the Yazidi people to the broader cultural heritage of Mesopotamia. Executed in oil on canvas, the work combines elements of portraiture and poster art to explore themes of memory, identity, and human resilience.
